First, a word about Tropical Storm Emily. It disintegrated into just a plain tropical wave, as it interacted with the mountains of Hispaniola yesterday. It still has the chance to regenerate into a tropical depression or storm, I suppose, as it moves north-northwestward at about 15 miles an hour. But, it will have no impact on the south, east, or Mid-Atlantic coast, as eventually it'll turn north and then northeast, and speed away from the east coast in the many days ahead.
For us here in New Jersey, it looks really nice today. Friday will feature sunshine, patchy clouds with low to middle 80s, but cooler at the beach.
More humid tonight with 60s for some and low 70s urban and coastal areas.
Now, I'm sticking with the idea that there's the chance of a few showers as early as some point Saturday afternoon as it becomes partly to mostly cloudy. The morning will be fine, but by mid and late afternoon, many places will be seeing at least a few showers with low 80s, but cooler at the beach.
Also, an issue with Sunday, I'm mentioning cloudy and damp, wet weather to start. Clouds may break for some sunshine in the afternoon as we dry out. I'm not sure whether or not that's going to work out; stay tuned. Few highs on Sunday could be near 90.
Have a good weekend.
