Alan's Weather- 08/09/11

It reached the lower 90s yesterday; 92 or 93 in spots, although it was cooler near the water. There was an isolated passing shower in a few spots yesterday, but most places didn't see very much.

Today, it's a different story. We start dry, but by late morning and early afternoon near the Delaware River and elsewhere this afternoon and early this evening, watch for some shower and thunderstorm activity. A few highs could be near 90 briefly, and it'll be cooler near the beach and boardwalk regardless.

It looks as though the first half of the night, the first part of the night, will be wet. Some showers and possibly a leftover thunderstorm may be moving through.

Then it should move out between midnight and morning. In fact, I think we'll get some clearing during the early morning hours after midnight tonight with lows in the mid 60s to mid 70s; 65-75.

Partly sunny tomorrow and still pretty warm near 90 with just the chance of an afternoon or evening thunderstorm tomorrow.

And then some great weather Thursday and Friday. Starting with Thursday, partly to mostly sunny with comfortable temperatures and low humidity. Thursday's highs in the lower 80s.
