Alan's Weather- 08/30/11

Upper 70s and low 80s was the way to go yesterday, and that's what turned out. By the way, the normal high temperature is down to 82 now for this time of the year.

A beautiful day today with lots of sunshine and very low humidity again. Highs will be in the low 80s, but it'll be cooler, probably settling into the 70s at the beaches with the wind off the water.

Clear and still fairly comfortable for the night upcoming with some lows back in the 50s, but mid 60s in urban and coastal areas.

Mostly sunny tomorrow and still pleasant with a Wednesday high in the mid 80s, but still cooler along the coast.

A mix of sun and clouds for Thursday with just the chance of a shower and low 80s away from the ocean.

Friday looks okay, but the weekend, at least Saturday and Sunday, offers the chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Not all the time, but there is the threat of a shower or thunderstorm, especially in the afternoon or evening on Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully it'll be gone for Monday.

And we're watching a tropical depression, almost tropical storm. It'll be moving over the central and eastern Atlantic over these next 3 to 5 days, probably eventually as a major hurricane.
