We had a scattering of showers yesterday, but surprisingly, temperatures made it over 80 degrees in just a couple of spots- Atlantic City and Trenton reached 81, while everybody else was in the upper 70s.
Today, a beautiful day and pretty warm, well into the 80s and upper 80s with reasonably low humidity and cooler at the beaches with a sea breeze.
Some clear skies tonight, then some late clouds with lows around the 60s, and maybe 70 or so in urban and coastal areas.
Looks like we are going to get more rain and showers in the forecast for the next couple of days. What else is new? Variable clouds Thursday with some showers and even a thunderstorm possible moving through with highs in the lower 80s, but cooler near the ocean.
More of the same on Friday with still chance of a shower or thunderstorm and highs again in the lower 80s, but cooler at the beaches.
Saturday looks okay, for now. Most of Sunday does, although some showers may be approaching by late in the day.
The Tropics are still on the active side as a system in the central Caribbean Sea will have to be watched. And eventually, something coming off the Cape Verde Islands will have to be watched in the many days ahead.
