We'll watch today for the chance of a few showers. Otherwise, variable clouds with breaks of sun possible. A few highs near 80, but cooler near the ocean.
There's a chance of a few showers tonight. Statewide lows from the mid 60's to the low 70's. We have a flood watch back in effect from later Friday into the weekend for much of South, Central and Northen New Jersey. It's going to be one to three inches of rain, maybe four when all is said and done.
Rain is also likely tomorrow, heavy at times. Highs just in the 70's.
Showers will still be around this weekend, especially Saturday. Weekend highs upper 70's to perhaps 80. Still cooler along the coast.
We have Tropical Storm Ophelia to watch for. It's pretty much holding its own with 55 to 60 miles per hour sustained winds. It may weaken a little bit in the days ahead.
