Alan's Weather - 09/29/11

We still have the risk of some passing showers today. Earlier, we've seen downpours again in portions of Hunterdon, Warren, and Sussex County. Almost the same kind of line of showers in the same place as 24 hours ago.

But, other parts of the state may have a passing shower or two. Otherwise, variable clouds and some sun today with a few highs around or just a bit over 80, but cooler 70s along the coast.

Any early evening showers will end. Then becoming mostly clear overnight with some lows in the 50s, but low to mid 60s urban and coastal areas.

Some sun and clouds Friday with just the chance of a shower. Hopefully, it will be a dry day for a change with temperatures just in the 70s.

Much cooler this weekend as we look for clouds and some sun Saturday with still the chance of a few showers. Highs Saturday in the low 60s. Partly sunny Sunday with highs again in the low 60s.

Our two tropical weather systems, Ophelia and Felipe, are still milling about in the Atlantic Ocean, but are of no concern to any land areas, such as the Leeward Islands or the east coast of the United States.

We're in fine shape there.
