Alan's Weekend Weather - 09/16/11

Mets losing again. Well, what can I say? I'm a Mets fan. I'm doomed to failure.

Anyway, partly to mostly sunny and cool today with temps just in the 60s in New Jersey, but mid to upper 60s this afternoon.

Now, it may become partly cloudy tonight with some lows in the 40s and low 50s urban and coastal areas.

Clouds and just some sun tomorrow with upper 60s at best, and just a bit cooler near the ocean with a brisk wind off the water.

Some clouds may be around Sunday near 70 or so. Actually, there may be some rain or showers that we'll be flirting with on the far south coast this weekend, but I think basically it'll be rain free. Saturday and Sunday may have more clouds than sunshine both days.

As we look at Hurricane Maria, which will be moving past and over the southeastern corner of Newfoundland in the next 12 to 18 hours, it'll become extra tropical. Still though, it'll get a pretty good blow up there from an 80 MPH hurricane as it moves across the southeastern corner of the Canadian Maritime Provinces.

Have a good week everybody. See you Monday.
