The weekend forecast turned out much better than expected. We had little to no rain for the entire weekend. Temperatures by Sunday reached the upper 70's and low 80's away from the ocean. A normal high of 73 or 74, so we were quite a bit above that, at least away from the ocean.
Today, we'll have clouds and some intervals of sunshine. It doesn't look like there will be chance of any shower activity. If there is it will be in far southern counties.
Some fog and low clouds will return for the nighttime hours ahead.
Tuesday offers the risk of a shower, especially in the afternoon and evening, in parts of the state. Tuesday night into Wednesday looks to feature more in the way of rain and showers. However after what happened over the weekend, we may be a little bit conservative on that note.
The tropics are active but not anything of concern here. Ophelia is no longer a disturbance.
